d'Leedon Show Suite

Breathtaking! It is like a modern art museum with exotic show pieces that will appeal to your visual, aural and olfaction senses.

d'Leedon - a preview of what is to come on the inside
The show suite is structured like a tour with the grand entrance housing the reception area. Proceeding from there to your right in an anti-clockwise fashion is the first stop - an mini-theater to watch a short video introduction.

Next are the show flat for 1+Study (Type A), 2-BR (Type B2), 3-BR (Type C2) and 4-BR (Type D1a). The flooring provided is off-white 600x600mm homogeneous tiles for the living and laminate or parquet wood flooring for the bedrooms. Kitchen appliances are from Bosch while the fittings for the bathrooms are from Bravat.

Following the show flats is the scaled model of the facilities where you are able to take a closer look at the Farrer Wing and Leedon Wing Clubhouse and the numerous facilities at this wonderful development. Peppered around the whole journey are artworks and write-ups on the development and its consultants.

At the next stop is the show flat for the Garden House (Type GH2), approximately 6,400 sqft with two reserved car park lots spanning 3 levels from basement to ground to second floor! This show flat is also the show piece by the architect where they are give free reign in their design. It is truly a work of art.

Lastly is the scaled model of the development. And while most models are scaled replicas of the actual developments, this goes beyond just the development but also includes the faithful rendering of the surrounding developments, houses and landmarks.

A real stunning show suite

The 150-metre tall towers were conceptualised as flowers growing upwards from a central strip of private gardens. Each tower is unique as they are sub-divided into 'petals' according to the number of units on each floor.

The towers take up only 22 per cent of the land area. The rest of the 655,000 sq ft space, said Mr Schumacher, is dedicated to two swimming pools, greenery and recreational facilities such as clubhouses.

One tower of d'Leedon will have its third to 10th levels host 80 elderly friendly units. Mr Wong said they are meant to encourage multi-generational families to live close to one another.

Viewers of d'Leedon's show galleries would see luxurious customised decor. Four show suites were decked out by Hong Kong- based interior designer Terence Tam from Union-Tech Services. Each apartment comes with its own scent, such as baked bread or marinated salmon.

The last, a three-storey garden home, was specially designed by Zaha Hadid Architects and bears Ms Hadid's signature use of curves in its furnishings, bed linen and even wallpaper.
